Answer

What does a GEO or AEO agency cost?

Published rates in this market are rare, but the work has a shape: a one-off visibility audit, a one-off competitor analysis, recurring profile maintenance, and a website build. Grafynt prices those at Rp 710.000, Rp 1.250.000, Rp 1.520.000 a month and from Rp 7.550.000 respectively.

The short version

  • The work splits into four things, and only one of them should recur.
  • One-off: the visibility audit, the competitor analysis, the website build.
  • Recurring: Google Business Profile maintenance, because a profile genuinely decays.
  • Published prices here: Rp 710.000 audit, Rp 1.250.000 competitor analysis, Rp 1.520.000 a month for profile work with a three-month minimum, websites from Rp 7.550.000.
  • Buy the measurement first. It is the cheapest line on any price list and it is the one that tells you whether the others are worth buying.

What you are actually paying for

Measurement. Running the questions your buyers ask through the assistants and ordinary search, recording who gets named, and checking what a crawler can actually retrieve from your pages. This is cheap, fast, and it is the only item that tells you which of the others you need. Buying anything before it is guessing with a budget attached.

Analysis. Taking apart the businesses that got named instead of you, query by query, and working out which of those positions are winnable in months, which would take years, and which are not worth contesting at all. It costs more than the audit because it is more work: three to five other businesses, not just your own position.

Maintenance. Keeping a Google Business Profile accurate and internally consistent with everything else written about you. This is the one that recurs, and it recurs for a real reason, covered below.

Build. A site structured so that each buying-intent question has a page that answers it outright and can be retrieved without JavaScript. A revamp keeps the URLs and structure that already rank; only a new build starts over.

Why only one line should be monthly

This is the question worth asking any agency you talk to.

A Google Business Profile does not stay where you put it. Google reshuffles categories and adds attributes. Third parties, including competitors, can suggest edits to your listing and those edits can be accepted without you noticing. Hours drift around holidays. Reviews and questions arrive constantly, each one adding text in wording nobody has reconciled against your site. A one-off cleanup is measurably better for a while and then decays.

An audit does not decay, it dates. A finished website does not decay either; it needs adding to, which is a separate decision with a separate price.

So when a proposal puts everything on one monthly fee, the useful question is: which specific thing are you doing again next month, and why does it need doing again? If the honest answer is "reporting", that is a dashboard, not a service.

What moves the numbers

WhatWhy it moves
Number of services on your profileFour services and one location is a different job from forty and six branches
Number of competitors analysedThe price here covers three to five; more is more reading
Whether your site copy existsWriting it is the slow part of a build
Revamp or new buildA revamp inherits structure and URLs that already earn rankings
How many locationsEach one multiplies the consistency surface
How many languagesTwo languages is close to two of everything

Note what is not on that list: your industry, and how competitive you believe your market to be. Those change whether the work succeeds, not what it costs to do.

What it costs

WhatPriceTimeline
Visibility auditRp 710.000, free with a website build~3 days
Competitor analysisRp 1.250.000, covers 3-5 competitors~1 week
Google Business Profile optimisationRp 1.520.000 per month, minimum 3 months1-2 weeks to set up
Workflow automationsQuoted per project, add-on only1-2 weeks
Website, new or revampedfrom Rp 7.550.0002-3 weeks

Two bundles exist, priced below the sum of their parts: website plus audit at Rp 7.550.000, which is the audit included free with a build, and everything except automation at Rp 8.540.000 one-time plus the Rp 1.520.000 monthly profile fee. Only the one-time work is discounted in a bundle; the monthly fee is the same either way.

The website figure covers a revamp or company profile up to about five pages, and a custom multi-page build is quoted per project. The profile work is monthly because a Google Business Profile does not stay fixed: hours change, categories get reshuffled, and reviews and questions keep arriving. A one-off cleanup decays within months, so it is not sold that way.

The audit is where everything starts: whether search engines and AI assistants name your business for buying-intent questions, whether they describe it correctly, and which businesses get named instead of you, by name. Plus a retrieval and consistency test across your site, your Google Business Profile and your other listings. About three days.

When none of this is worth buying

Do not buy if nobody is searching for what you sell. This work captures demand that already exists. If you are creating a category, you need demand generation, which is a different job and not this one.

Do not buy a retainer before a measurement. The order matters more than the vendor. A measurement is cheap and tells you which problem you have; a retainer bought first commits you to someone else's guess about it.

Do not buy profile maintenance if you do not serve customers in a place. The monthly line earns its keep on local intent. Without a geographic component, put the money into answering questions on your own pages instead.

Do not buy a rebuild as the first move. Most visibility problems are fixed without touching the design, and the expensive step is the one most often sold first.

Common questions

Why do most agencies refuse to publish prices?
Because quoting on request lets the number move with the client rather than the work. Sometimes that is legitimate, since scope genuinely varies. Often it protects the agency. Either way you cannot rule anyone out before a call, which is the cost you pay for it.
Should any of this be a monthly retainer?
Only the parts that genuinely decay. Profile maintenance does, because Google reshuffles categories, third parties suggest edits and reviews keep arriving. An audit does not, and a website does not. A retainer covering work that stays done is a subscription to nothing.
Is a cheaper agency worse?
Not necessarily, but ask what recurs and why. The dangerous shape is a low monthly fee covering work that was finished in month one. Ask which specific thing decays, and what they do about it each month.
What should I expect to pay before committing?
Enough to get a measurement and no more. An audit is a few hundred thousand rupiah here and tells you whether the rest is worth buying at all. Anyone asking for a multi-month commitment before measuring anything is selling you a plan built on a guess.
